Get ready for this super-tasty naked burger. You certainly won't notice that there's no gluten and zero dairy in this dish. All you will notice is that this is the best burger you've ever had!

Inspired by a recipe on the Centr App (Chris Hemsworth's fitness app), I've changed the burger recipe and dressing recipe as I felt the quantities were out of whack. I also didn't want to use white potatoes, so instead, I made some sweet potato fries to up the fibre level and give an extra boost of vitamins B and C, plus antioxidants in the form of beta-carotene.

You will not be disappointed...

4 Servings

Ingredients:

Fries:

350g sweet potatoes, chipped

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

salt & pepper

Burgers:

500g organic 15% minced beef

1 teaspoon garlic granules

2 teaspoons smoked paprika

1 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

4 large eggs

Salad:

1 head of Red Gem lettuce

4 large tomatoes

100g cornicons

1 avocado, sliced

Dressing:

1 heaped teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon red wine vinegar

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/2 teaspoon honey

salt and pepper

HOW TO MAKE:

Pre-heat oven to 190C

Start by preparing the sweet potato fries. Place the chipped sweet potatoes on a baking tray and using your hands, coat every fry with olive oil, smoked paprika and seasoning. Bake for 20-30 minutes.

Prepare the dressing by adding the Dijon mustard to a small bowl. Next, add the seasoning with the vinegar and honey - combine well. Slowly add the olive oil - a little at a time making sure the dressing doesn't separate. You can use a spoon or a small whisk. This can take some time.

Now, combine the burger ingredients and mix with your hands and make into patties. Fry each side until browned then transfer to the oven on a baking tray for 10-15 minutes (depending on how you like yours done).

Assemble the salad onto the plates and add your dressing. Fry the eggs and add all the other elements and serve!
